14 pizza places inside Charlottesville city limits: the Downtown Mall, Belmont, the Corner, West Main Street, Dairy Market and Jefferson Park Avenue.
Last checked Oct. 19, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Charlottesville’s pizza places cluster in three spots: the Downtown Mall and the streets just off it, Belmont across the Belmont Bridge, and the Corner and West Main Street near the University of Virginia. The chains are on Ivy Road, Millmont Street and 5th Street SW.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Charlottesville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 19, 2026. Christian’s Pizza and Vita Nova have no working website of their own, so we confirmed both against the Virginia Department of Health’s food inspection records, which list them as permitted with an inspection this year. A second Christian’s on 14th Street NW was last inspected in June 2025, so we left it out until we can confirm it. Dino’s hours come from the Dairy Market merchant page. We left out Fabio’s NY Pizza, whose site would not load for us, and the Papa John’s on Long Street, whose location page no longer loads. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
